The census of 1890 was destroyed by fire. The only part to survive for North Carolina was the census taken in; South Point Township, Riverbend Township and township #2 in Cleveland County.
Mandy had 1 child the father of which is unknown.
After the birth of her son Mandy disappears from the records and doesn't show back up until her first marriage in 1922.
Mandy went on to marry Joseph "Joe" Herbert Leatherwood (1854-1937) on May 16th, 1922 in Cherokee County, North Carolina. Their were no children from this union as Joe was 67 years old at the time of the wedding.

In 1920 Joseph and Margaret separated. Margaret went to live with her son John Arthur Leatherwood (1885-1960) and his wife Bonnie. Along with Margaret some of her other children went to live with John too: David, Nina, Pauline and Jessie. Joseph moved to Haywood County.
On January 31st, 1920 we find Joseph on page 11b, line66 of the Federal Census living in Jonathan Creek Township, Haywood County, North Carolina. At the time of the census he is 64 years old, still listed as married and was born in North Carolina.

Joseph's first wife Margaret died on January 3rd, 1922 in Franklin, Moore County, North Carolina. Four months later he married Mandy.
On April 24th, 1930 we find Joseph on page 10a, line 18 of the Federal Census living in Valley Township, Cherokee County, North Carolina.

On November 29th, 1937 Joseph died in Valleytown, Cherokee County, North Carolina. On November 30th, 1937 Joseph was buried in Valleytown Cemetery in Andrews, Cherokee County, North Carolina. At the time of his death he was 83 years old.
